Meet Norum our Mascot

Norum Bear AKA Paddington Bear, was appointed as our unofficial mascot in 2015. Norum accompanied the team on the 2015 visit to Nepal and we made sure he was with us all the way, participating in all the work that we got involved in. Norum was happy to sit around the table and participate in discussions. He even took some notes for us! Since Norum first joined us he was made a Nepalese outfit by Mona, Pradhan Ji's wife and our good friend. And Norum accompanies us when we visit the schools and health posts in the Dhading region. Norum helps take winter beanies up to Maidi and to Chhahari a streetfront service in Kathmandu. Meredith Sims (in photo below), our colleague in the NSW Ministry of Health knits these beanies each year with the help of family and friends!
